Using the map, Roomba 980 will run continuously for up to two hours, then return to its Home Base to recharge. After it recharges, it will resume vacuuming until the cleaning is complete. It uses a suite of sensors to adapt its movement pattern when necessary, navigating under furniture and round clutter. To make it even more useful and convenient, you can use iRobot’s new HOME app to connect Roomba 980 to your Wi-Fi network, so you can start a cleaning job from anywhere, anytime. You can also schedule your Roomba 980 to clean up to seven times a week from the iRobot HOME app (available for iOS and Android devices). Through the app, you can choose the appropriate cleaning mode for your home, such as choosing between one or two passes, edge cleaning, and whether to use Carpet Boost (Carpet Boost increases the performance of the Gen 3 motor on carpets and rugs).
